The M3 is a mini iron designed for quilters, a niche market Oliso dominates by catering to customer’s needs. Together we developed a best-seller that enhances the brand DNA with excellent ergonomics and micro-innovations.
The ID was crafted based on ergonomic studies and user empathy. Features like the work light, ambidextrous power cord, and oversized steam buttons were developed for the middle-aged female target user. We visualized many color combinations and engaged with focus groups before arriving at the final CMF. The operation logic and graphics were also carefully defined to deliver a smooth user experience.
